The plastic material used remains soft in places, and the Beta socket case remains the largest and therefore the most bulky of the three brands. 3/5
The ratchet:
The main weakness of this Beta socket set is that the all-metal ratchets are not ergonomic, they are among the heaviest and do not have a socket ejection system. The plastic right/left reverser, despite its fine head, is still sensitive and is not recommended for intensive use. 2/5

This is a set of 3 boxes, which makes it handy and compact, as it can be used separately. The socket sets are very well finished, with solid plastic, reinforced corners, and sturdy plastic closures. Each tool is moulded, and the markings on each size allow clear and quick storage. 4/5
The ratchet:
This is the real highlight of the KS Tools socket sets, a high quality ratchet: a flat, space-saving head and a very fine ratchet thanks to a reversing device and a socket ejection system integrated in the head. Above all, this extremely well finished ratchet is the lightest of the three brands, and the most ergonomic. 5/5
The sockets set compo

The Laser case is a very compact plastic case, with marked storage for each case. The parts are less held, and may leave their housing when opened, and the plastic locking system is sensitive. 2/5

The pawls are very heavy and large, not very ergonomic, their head with socket ejection system and reverser is very cumbersome. The finish is entry level. 2/5
The case set compo:
171 pieces, a real strong point of this Laser socket set, a very complete compo, simply identical to the compo of the Beta set: short sockets from 4mm to 32mm and long sockets from 4mm to 22mm.
